The safety of all our users comes first.
Indigobird GmbH (hereinafter Indigobird) respects the privacy of the users of the website and the online shop. These data protection provisions form the basis for the processing of personal data and provide information about the type of user data collected by Indigobird and how Indigobird uses this data. Indigobird complies with the applicable data protection laws and processes the personal data solely for the purposes for which the data was transmitted.
Types of collected data
When visiting the Indigobird website, statistical visitor data is collected on which parts of the website are visited particularly frequently by the respective user. This may include, for example, data regarding the browser, operating system, web logs and other connection data used by the user, regardless of whether their collection is required for our purposes or for other purposes. In this context, it is sometimes necessary to use so-called cookies. These collected data do not contain any personal references or are sufficiently anonymous to be able to draw any conclusions about your person.
Indigobird does not automatically collect personal user data such as name, address, telephone number or e‑mail address. An exception to this is information that the user voluntarily submits to Indigobird by filling out website forms or contacting Indigobird in any other way through the website.
Most browsers automatically accept such cookies, but they can be configured not to accept or store cookies. Please refer to your browser’s user guide or help function for details.
Usage of collected data
The anonymous data, which is recorded by cookies when the Indigobird website is accessed, can be used for analysis purposes, to optimise the website and to measure performance. Indigobird may use the following third parties for this purpose, some of which have their own data protection regulations over which Indigobird has no influence:
Data that users transmit voluntarily as users of the website may be used by Indigobird for the purpose of improving the website and providing individual support to users. This includes, but is not limited to, the sending of information, offers or notifications relating to the product range or services. The Indigobird newsletter will only be sent if the user so wishes (newsletter opt-in procedure).
Disclosure of your data
Excluded from this is if the user has agreed to the disclosure of the data to companies not associated with Indigobird, or if Indigobird is required to do so by law, authority or court. Furthermore, if service providers who support Indigobird in the data processing, the administration of the website or in any other way as well as in the provision of the products and services requested by the user are consulted. These third parties are obliged to maintain the same level of security and data protection as Indigobird.
Unfortunately, the transmission of data via the Internet is not absolutely secure. Indigobird works with service providers and Internet service providers who take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to protect the personal data of users. However, Indigobird cannot guarantee the security of the data transmitted by the user. Any data transmission is therefore at the user’s own risk.
Your information and revocation rights
Of course, each user is free to inform Indigobird at any time – for example in an e‑mail – that the personal data will not be used in the future to establish contact. Participation in the special services of the Indigobird website, such as the newsletter service, can also be revoked at any time.
In addition, it is possible to obtain information on the processing of the data or to request a copy of the personal data collected via the Indigobird website. Please address such requests by writing or e‑mail directly to Indigobird GmbH, Staffelstrasse 35, CH-5430 Wettingen.
Should individual provisions or parts of these data protection provisions prove to be invalid or ineffective, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining data protection provisions.
The place of jurisdiction and the applicable law shall be governed by the GTC.
